Kunena 6.2.6 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural changes that occurred in K 1.7, many of the ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Thanks a lot for all the work you put into this hack.

It works perfectly.

The only trouble that remains is the "\" preceeding any " ' " in the poll options.

Thanks again!

All the changes are commented or you can search "poll" in the files.

Is there a doc for use your api ?

Not yet. I have written a article for integrate the API with Kunena . You can view the plugins in the version edited and intuit how it works. I'm writting the doc.

After integrate the API, you have to define the position, such as joomla templates. For define a position:

//in message.php, for example:
JoniJnm_API::display("name_of_the_position");

I have find where is the problem on IE 8.0, you need to comment the line 47 in the file /components/kunena/lib/kunena.poll.js.php this :
Code:
field_option.setAttribute('type','text');

I don't know why it don't work :(

There is a strange issue on issue on IE, if you put a ' in the poll option text, your vote is ignored in the results.
