Kunena 6.3.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.8 [K 6.3.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3
Note: Please go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated.

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural changes that occurred in K 1.7, many of the ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Hi again.. :unsure:
It´s me again with more problems of the same kind, im still working on this template since that day, thought everything was ok, but it seems like im still having trouble with IE. i did everything i could, but i dont know more..

1 problem:
In IE the smile div in boardcode does not expand for the second row of icons, it continues in the same line and i cant see all of them.

2 problem:
I cant take this space from div.current in IE.

I would also like to ask if border-radius dont work in IE.
Sorry one more time for coming here with my problems, hope someone can help.
Thanks in advance.

The border-radius CSS directive is not implemented in many versions of Internet Explorer: davidwalsh.name/css-rounded-corners

To help you better as far as the way that your smileys (emoticons) selection toolbar is concerned, it would be easier if you posted your configuration report. It would also help if you have a test account that we could use on your site to see the problem for ourselves. You can post your test account information using the "confidential" BBcode tag, like this:
Code:
[configuration]Username: Password[/configuration]

I understand that you may have reasons for not wanting to show us where, specifically, you are having problems. That's OK but, if you have edited your configuration report, if you do not wish to share the full details of your site, it means that it will take us considerably longer to give you the help that you have asked for.

Unfortunately, as I don't know where (the URL of the affected website) the issue is, and have no means of seeing what can be done, there's not much that I can do to help. As you have also decided to keep to K 1.6.5 (which is not supported by the Kunena project team) there's not a lot we can do there, either. That's why the comments I've written here are general ones.

I would like to make a general point: You can do a lot with CSS; IE7 just makes things 10 times harder to do anything. Although K 1.6 is supposed to work with IE7, the K 1.6 project was actually delayed by 6 weeks while we tried to make things work at all with IE7. In the end we decided that we would probably never fully get K 1.6 to work with IE7. This is why, when K 1.7.0 was released, IE7 support for Kunena was withdrawn. I'm not saying that the problems can't be solved; I'm only giving you a few facts about why it will be difficult to solve in this particular case. Perhaps someone else may like to offer you some suggestions that will put things right.

Alternatively, if you decide to upgrade to K 1.7.1 you may find that things will work better for you.

Sorry i only use 1.6 because 1.7 don't have translation in my language yet.

This solved the smiley issues:

#Kunena div#smilie {
background-color: #F0F4F7;
border-radius: 5px 5px 5px 5px;
padding-left: 17px;
width: auto;
height: auto;
overflow: auto;
}
