In where (local?)... after you run conversion tool?

I think developer team members (some of them) can do conversion files for you when you give to their latest translation file of 1.5.xx series... it do only conversion from old 1.5.xx series to 1.6 admin and site files which are located at the moment on situations what I tell previously

We all have to remember... K 1.6 not follow general practice to place the language files in the normal Joomla! locations(which we are accustomed)... still

I upgraded to 1.6 but I guess Dutch languagefiles are not yet translated (missing some strings).

Could someone convert the latest 1.5 languagefile for me?

Link to old translation: nl-NL

Where do I submit the new translation so others can use them?

Maybe, you can do a list of unstranslated strings and put the translation, someone will add the things into kunena.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Sure, send them over and i'll translate them!

Some of the excisting old translations don't make sense or the word order is wrong, where can u suggest changes?

edit: hmmm, think I misunderstood your post....I already translated a large part of my files, so I can't see which are not translated anymore. (added missing strings by comparing with english files).

edit2: I'll compare english and dutch files, add missing strings and make changes where neccesary

Here:
Code:
COM_KUNENA_COM_A_MOD_SEE_DELETED="Allow to moderator to view and restore deleted messages" COM_KUNENA_COM_A_MOD_SEE_DELETED_DESC="Set <em>Yes</em> if you want to allow the moderator to view and restore deleted messages in the frontend. By default only administrator can do this."

You will found here latest english language files: joomlacode.org/gf/project/kunena/scmsvn/...th=%2Ftrunk%2F1.6%2F

Please report missing strings so I can add them.

* Found 1 typo in english file: COM_KUNENA_UPLOAD_ERROR_RESIZE_1="Cound not resize image."
should be: COM_KUNENA_UPLOAD_ERROR_RESIZE_1="Could not resize image."

* Missing string: COM_KUNENA_COM_A_MOD_SEE_DELETED but cant see what it does, anyone has english description for this string for me?

What is the purpose to recreate the wheel ? The dutch translation is already present lastest revision of SVN in kunena 1.6

You should have told me 5 days ago ;)

I don't know how SVN works, never used it and can't find any language files. I already know there is a new file (from Dutch section) but that one isn't public yet. The one inside 1.6 b1 is far from complete.

@ Mortti: Thank you very much!

edit: Took a better look at SVN, should have done that before....but the Dutch language file is translated for maybe 50%, mine has been translated 100%. There is a new file which has been fully translated but is still being worked on (last spell checks). For now I will use mine

The dutch transltation hasn't been updated with latest put in SVN, so it's the reason why many things aren't translated.
