Kunena 6.2.6 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

You are right, thats not optimal and therefore I've added this problem in our bug list.
Manipulations in the database is always a high risk and can destroy the complete website, when mistakes are made. Never work on it without backup!

For now, maybe helps this trick for you. If you have copied back the database rows, then should displayed in the frontend at the posts again the message "You do not have permissions to access this page."
If you click on Edit and then on Preview, you should see the related images. (Nevertheless remains many manually work.)

I'm still struggling with episodes of failure to display attachments correctly. The current symptom is the file names of the attachments are displayed as links but when you try to follow the link you are treated to "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later." Not all attachments are so affected, some work fine and some do not. Here's my configuration report:
Any help will be greately appreciated.
Bill

You've got a complete Kunena menu moved to the main menu, this inevitably leads to mistakes because you call the same target via different addresses.
You have 2 possibilities.

Either you remove all Kunena menu items from your main menu (afterwards also from the trash). Then add a module to the Kunena menu and use the position above for it,

Or you change all this menu items to System Links -> Menu Item Alias.
docs.kunena.org/en/troubleshooting/menu-issues
By the way, the menu item on top "Your Profile" is also wrong.
