Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

This may be of assistance. There are two tools that can help to diagnose problems: they are (1) Diagnostic tool and (2) Database schema tool . After running these things, copy and paste the output here. Perhaps there will be something in the output that may assist with the diagnosis of this problem.

We finally found the problem, after over 6 hours of (paid) programmer effort. Here is their analysis:

In fact the initial upgrade of kunena 2.0.1 succeeds but for some reason the installer does not update the upgrade status of the 2.0.1 install on "j25_kunena_version" table to be blank. instead it has "InstallSampleData". Deleting "InstallSampleData" and reinstalling kunena 2.0.1 results in a complete installation.

Very interesting. I will mention this to the development team but it's very puzzling to say the least. We're pleased to see that you found a solution to your problem. We have not encountered this particular issue ourselves but I'm sure (if others have a similar situation) they will thank you for the information that you have provided.
