Kunena 6.2.6 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

using an iphone4 v6.02... it only shows half a screen (left side)... on my ipad2 v6.02 it shows full screen, but its a miniaturized view of the forum with right side widgets still showing... making the print very small

a couple of our viewers who have blackberrys first pointed it our that they could only see half screens on their mobile phones... the only way they can see the whole screen is to view it in desktop mode... which makes the size of the print unreadable...

Rotate the screen to landscape then. Not sure if that can be done on a Blackberry however.

At the moment there is no Responsive version of Kunena, that is in the pipelines, hopefully in Kunena 3.

If you go to www.tapatalk.com there is a plugin for Kunena that changes it for mobile devices, I think it supports Blackberry. It is free for website owners, but costs a little bit for users. There is a free version for Androids called Convo, but I don't know if that is available for Blackberry or iphone either.

fingers are crossed for the responsive version... although with K2 just released it could be awhile, no?

tapatalk looks interesting although as with all free progs there are costs involved and that would be to our end users which I'm not so sure they would like...

I appreciate your comments though...

I've also looked very briefly at jtouchmobile for kunena... has anyone had any experience either good or bad with this product?

Regarding Tapatalk, I was asked to add it to my forum by the users, so you should check with them.

Not sure about jtouchmobile, contact the developer for information.
