Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

I wrote above that the conflict in the pattern. On a standard, all excellent.

I've tried a few CSS compression tools our our site, such as Rokbooster and JCHOptimze but they always break Kunena.

Any advice or tips on getting CSS compression to work with Kunena?

Hello,

Kunena 2.0 minify itself the CSS and javascript files, so you don't need to take care of them with compression.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Thanks for the quick reply xillibit

Trouble is, most templates are extensions don't do that, so we use a compressor for those.

Looks like I solved it by excluding these files from the compression plugin (Rokbooster)

/components/com_kunena/template/blue_eagle/css/mediaboxAdv-min.css
/components/com_kunena/template/blue_eagle/css/kunena.forum-min.css
/components/com_kunena/template/blue_eagle/css/kunena.default-min.css
/components/com_kunena/template/blue_eagle/css/kunena.20-min.css
/media/system/css/calendar-jos.css

Hi, I am not able to edit profile informations in my Kunena forum - povolenka.cz/forum/profil/edit

There is some unknown Javascript conflict. I've read "Common causes of Mootools" article, but no success...

Can anybody help?
Thanks!

Thank you, ekain, for the report about RockBooster. I have added this information to the list of sources of Javascript-related issues in Common causes of Mootools (Javascript library) issues and Kunena . We, too, tried a couple of these Javascript code aggregators/compressors/obfuscators - at this website - but they were more problematic than they were useful. We abandoned them; the performance hit was negligible, anyway.

Hi,

Wonder if anyone could help? Installed the Kunena forum and all seems to be ok, accept for the user profile.

>profile>edit

There are no options to edit a users profile? Is there anything extra I need to add or is there something a little more sinister going on?
