Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Nice start. Language strings can be fixed by copying blue eagle language file and giving it a new name.

Along the way, I think we need to revisit the documentation Wiki and write a simple, reasonably easy-to-follow guide, to how to create a new template in K 2.0. :) Thanks, GJSchaller. Much appreciated your summary.

Hi GJ

Thankyou for this excellent start on creating ones own template.
I've tried following your guide, correcting the template.php and also the template.xml with our own info.
But I get an error 500 "Layout common/menu not found"

ANybody that has an idea why?

Best regards
Fribse

Did you read the guide in the Wiki about how to diagnose HTTP 500 errors? Read the guide and then you will know why you have that error. ;)

May I ask here, how to make topic icons more big? Where can I change that? I want to alter the folder and folder_nonew icons. I have my icons and I drop them to the folder but in live site the are cut. Their dimensions are as the defaults but they don't look good. Can I add somewhere the dimesions that I want?
It looks that there is plenty of space for my folder icon to much the dimension of the box.
I hope you understand me...

2nd Edit the code here - media\kunena\topicicons\default\topicicons.xml

Early on in this topic sozzled said:

As far as I know, the approach to K 2.0 category icons is the same as we've talked about before in K 1.7 (viz., Category icons

That is certainly true for the <catID>_on.gif and <catID>_off.gif icons. But it doesn't seem to me to apply to the <catID>_notlogin.gif. That seems to be ignored and only the <catID>_off.gif icon displayed in its place when not logged in.

Am I wrong, or have I missed something in this process of changing / customising category icons?
