Hi guys,

How clean user cache from Kunena?

I still cannot find this option from "Synchronize users".

Is it anywhere else?

I need to update display in front of changes of user status (moderator or not) made from backend and I saw only user cache cleaning will give this effect.

Thanks!

Hello,

Start by upgrading to Joomla! 2.5.11, then if you go in tools, you will find Synchronize users function

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

Actually, before to upgrade, I already have "Synchronize users" function.

But I don't have "Clean user cache" option.

I just have the other ones.

So, if I upgrade Joomla from 2.5.7 to 2.5.11, this missing option will appear properly?

Maybe there is another way to solve fix my issue?

Currently, when I change user from administrator to moderator, it doesn't change in the frontend, however, it is sucessfuly recorded from the backend.

How to do for the front?

From Jommla backend, Kunena Module -> User management:

I select a user that I want set as moderator.

In first layer, his rank was Administrator. I changed to Moderator.

In Moderation layer, he was setted as No. I changed to Yes and selected a forum category he should moderate.

After save, nothing change in the frontend. He still be Administrator.

However, From the backend, he's Moderator.

Do you have any idea about it? Maybe I forgot something?

(1) There is no "clean user cache" feature in K 2.0,

(2).Do you want to know how to assign a moderator in Kunena? Is that really what this topic is about?

I am not sure I understand your question.

I just want to know how to set a user as moderator, yes.

But the way I described below seems not to be the good one.

However, it seems there is nothing else?
