ok, I'll give that a try, however, that doesn't explain how to use these buttons which is what my users are going to want to do. The see "flash" and would expect to be able to play a flash just like they can youtube. Isn't there some kind of doc's on this function?
I've looked and not found them.

I uploaded my video by FTP. The video has a size of 40mb.

In the forum I copy the link of the address FTP.
When you clik, open a new window with a quicktime player.
waited a minute for loading video.

I wanted to ask ...
But you can see the movie in the forum??
Type of youtube videos?
I tried to use the VIDEO button on the Kunena forum. But nothing.
Thanks in advance!!

Hello,

You can't do that anymore, this possibility has been removed for security reason

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Apparently this has to do with concerns regarding porno movies. At least this is my impression.

Sincerely,
Howard

No, it hasn't got to do with the video content or genre. The restriction on the use of the video tag has to do with forum security. The way things worked in previous versions of Kunena were also a way for people to exploit your forum in ways that people would really not like to imagine. I'm talking about people posting links that would nearly "catastrophise" your site and your users. We wouldn't want that to happen, now would we?

i can understand that but i have a few dumb questions then.
#1) why all the options for video if they don't / won't work?
#2) why do vimeo, youtube, natively but not others?
