Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Question Kunena & CB1.2 tabs / new field problem

I was an early adopter of Kunena and followed the directions to add the field options for threaded view and message ordering. Now I upgraded to the current version of Kunena, it's much better! But the old field in the CB profile for selecting thread or flat view is still there. The orering and signature works, but the thread/flat view selection doesn't.

I try unpublishing it, it still shows up in CB 'update preferences.'

I try deleting it from the CB fields, and CB says 'you can't delete a system field.'

Should I go in the database and delete the row? I'm reluctant to do anything in CB actually, as others observed it's very touchy, and I don't actually need it very much, the only thing that seems useful in it for me is the ability to list each user's posts on a separate page.

Old forum fields should be deleted manually from your database, but be sure to backup your database just encase. The new field for threaded, etc.. view is there primarily to continue to provide backwards compatibility support (fireboard).

Thanks for th input. I'm still nervous about index mismatch after deleting a field, but I'll give it a try.
