Kunena 6.2.1 Released with module latest 6.0.4 and module kunena stats 6.0.4

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.1 [K 6.2.1] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.3.x/4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1.0 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.1

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, these ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Hi,

On our site whenever someone clicks on the link to discuss the article in forums it immediately creates an empty forum topic referring to the article despite the fact that the person who clicked hasn't yet posted any comment. The result are many empty forum topics. I think instead of creating a topic it should just show the forum topic form where a comment can be posted and open the topic only if it's submit.

Can discussbot be configured to do that?

Hi

I have installed the Kunena discuss plugin 2.0 beta and it works fine, however when hitting send in quickpost results in logging out the user!


Any thoughts?

Hi people, excellent work.

We installed the Kunena discuss plugin 2.0 beta from 11. november 2009 and everything seems to work great, but we found a bug.

If we are navigating the site and then you enable the plugin the site still works, but if you close the browser with the plugin enabled then when you try to load the page again, never loads, until you go to the backend and disable the discuss bot.

We are running Joomla 1.5.15, with GK Icki Sports Template hosted on Go Daddy.

Please help us!

I installed Kunena discuss plugin 2.0 with kunena forum 1.5.9, and now the guest posts from plugin doesn't works.

I tested, and for plugin 1.9 and kunena forum 1.5.8 also doesn't works. I think it's a bug in kunena component since 1.5.8 version.

Solved, the problem is that es-ES.plg_content_kunenadiscuss.ini file wasn't UTF-8 encoding.

We have enabled discussbot commenting feature to show on blog pages (set to full) and "first post handling" to "link to article only". For articles this seems to work fine aside from that other issue , but for comments posted to a blog entry the first post in the kunena forum thread links to the homepage instead of the blog entry in question.

Any ideas how to fix this?
