The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2
This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.
This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.
The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, these ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

I've also found strange issue on one of my configurations.
Using the module wastes extra 10Mb of RAM.
Investigating the culprit I've found that the reason is in loading Community Builder object. Removed the line - got minus 10Mbs of RAM.
I've also found that actually module uses the 5% of the huge Community Builder functionality. I've made special CB class without extra functionality - and this helped me - module was completely function but I've saved 10 Mb.
This was made by the very dirty hack (I am not a developer) so I am just pointing at this trouble - may be this will help someone.

I just installed the your module with Joomla 1.5.9 and Kunena 1.0.8 and when I enable it, I'm not able to access the site from the front end. I get "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error". Any idea what might be causing this?

Probably you should upgrade to Joomla 1.5.15 and Kunena 1.5.7, really that's the most tested platform. Your site is vulnerable right now. I am not testing it with that old configuration.
Thanks for this module! One little thing I noticed is that when a post title is small enough to fit on one line in the module (next to its avatar), it throws off the alignment of the avatar/latest post beneath it. Any idea how to fix this?
