New version (1.6.5) seems to work just fine in Joomla 1.7 -- I'm just finalizing it for the release, but I will be away for the next few days.

So how long we have to wait yet ?

You need ot be patient the release is expected for a couple of days

I've installed newest version 1.7 with newest discuss plugin on joomla 1.7 and I didn't see anything change in articles. Does it need any special configuration to work or there is any documentation about this plugin ?

I just installed the Discuss plugin 1.7 over Kunena 1.7 too and have activated it yet can't see any parts of this plugin in any article nor in the designated default kunena category.
