Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

Yes, she did. She wanted it also for a regular bug reporting in German.

so... did the SQL-timeout produced this error??

Yes.

Ja, deswegen auch mein Vorschlag das über ftp und server zu installieren, hatte irgendwo gelesen, dass fxstein das mal vorgeschlagen hatte, da von dort die Installation schneller geht. Also mit Glück hätte es funktionieren können.

Verrate uns bloß morgen, welchen code dir allinkl.com für die .htaccess genannt hat :laugh:

Das timeout ist übrigens ein Problem, das von Joomla verursacht wird, nicht von Kunena. Joomla 1.0 nutzte eine externe zip Routine, die ca. 2 Sekunden brauchte, Joomla 1.5 aber wendet eine interne zip Routine an, die so zwischen 20 und 90 Sekunden brauchen kann. Somit kann es zu Schwierigkeiten kommen, wenn man größere Extensions installiert und der timeout auf dem Server zu niedrig gesetzt ist.

Sag mal, wie ist es möglich, dass deine Datenbank keine Kollation hat? Kannst du vielleicht mal eine neue anlegen, mit Kollation UTF8 und dann darauf alles komplett neu installieren (Joomla, Kunena usw)? Ich glaube nämlich fast, hier ist der Fehler zu suchen.

Auf dem ersten Screenshot ist deine Datenbank zu sehen, auf dem zweiten eine von mir, die Kollation ist blau umrandet.

EDIT: Lies mal in diesem thread . Derselbe Fehler - behoben durch Wechseln des Templates von default_ex nach default. :silly:

Looks like we are hitting an old MySQL bug. This seems to be very specific to a certain MySQL version.

We are investigating options on how to circumvent this problem.
