Kunena 6.4.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.8 [K 6.4.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.4
Important note: Go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated. This is particularly necessary for major version jumps so that the table changes are adapted.

Before you do anything else, please read K 1.6 Technical Requirements . J! 1.6.0 is unsuitable for K 1.6.4. Please upgrade immediately to J! 1.6.3

Resolved with fresh installation of J! 1.6.3 and K 1.6.4.

After installing I get this error:

... FAILED Uncaught Exception: Een ander menu-item heeft dezelfde alias in de root. Root is hoofdmap op het hoogste niveau (Another menu-item has the same alias in the root. Root is defaultmap on the highest level.)

What could I do about it?

My problem is the same actually. So I am interested for your offer here too.

I would like people to read
  1. the messages posted in this topic;
  2. [SOLVED] Installation problem ; and
  3. Uncaught Exception: Another menu item has the same alias in Root. New J! 1.6 installations .
The problem seems to mainly affect new K 1.6.4 installations on J! 1.6. The problem - more particularly, the error message - does not occur in J! 1.5 and does not occur if you have successfully installed K 1.6 on J! 1.6 and people are now upgrading to K 1.6.4.
