I'm bumping this because I am having the same problem with the text. Not just in the headers but also inside the posts themselves (the date and time stamp I think it is).

I have tried to figure out how to fix this but can't.

I will provide access to my site i someone wishes to help.

G'day, wallstreetamigo, and welcome to Kunena.

I don't know if this is genuinely a case of I have the same problem ... or not. Are you using a Rockettheme template? Have you tried using Firebug to see why the topic header text is squashed? Have you tried the techniques suggested earlier in this topic to remove the letter-spacing rules?

Sorry for the huge delay in replying.

I do use a rocketheme, and had turned off Build Title Spans as without turning it off, you cannot see the Edit button for your Kunena profile.

I have tried looking through the .css files, but can't find any letter-spacing: -2px; - but there are some letter space 1px, so I might fiddle around with those and see what happens, and let you know if I work it out.

The solution is exactly as Sozzled wrote, I was just looking in the wrong place - its libraries/gantry/css/joomla.css

I changed the letter-spacing to 0px and now the letters are space out nicely.

Firebug FTW (and forget Chrome its nay as good as Firefox with Firebug).

Thanks sozzled - for the welcome AND for the help.

I too was looking in the wrong css file. Once I figured out it was joomla.css and I made your edit, all is good.

So title characters are spaced too close each other? This is probably CSS or font issue.

konservator's issue is covered in this topic. Need to apply a different letter-spacing rule to change Rockettheme's template behaviour.
