Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

Maybe it's the signature which causing this kind of issue, try to remove your signature to see if it's works better.

I advise to disable display errors from php when you are in production environnement.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I've just searched to find something as to how to set up a poll in Kunena. The only link I found (in this thread) leads nowhere and I can find nothing in the docs about the subject, and I've searched the threads and can't find anything there also. Maybe I'm missing it but if I am it seems to have been well hidden.

This is for K1.6.1. I would have assumed that there would be something in the wikig or docs about poll setup but I haven't been able to come across it.

Ok, I give up! I found that the polls are enabled in the category. I did that. In the frontend I enabled there also. Yet, no matter what I do when I go to post a new thread in the category where I enabled the polls I get nothing that points me to setting up a poll.

I never claimed to be a latter day Einstein but I have to admit this is really making me feel a bit inadequate! :laugh: I sure would appreciate a bit of help here with how to setup a poll.

What is the link? Let me see if I can help correct it for you.

Thanksk Sozzled! I have read that and have done all of it (I think) but there is NO poll icon in the bbcode. Maybe I have still forgotten to set something in the backend but I can't find it if I have. Below is the config as reported by Kunena.

I abandoned the issue, became a low priority :laugh:

Im up to running K1.6.1 on that site, with a diiferent template on the forum and on the site, I'll go revist the issue and see what happens and come back to this.

Nope.

On submitting post I got a 500 error page which is a new one for me :

For me this has been broken over many kunena releases, many different joomla updates, different joomla themes and different kunena themes including the default one.

I have not the slightest clue why, if devs want access to have a look youre welcome, just let me know.

The query has failed because you have the same record in the poll table and after the poll datas are empty, so you are some php notice
The second part will be fixed in k1.6.2

Thanks for replying.

So the second part, the display errors will be fixed in 1.6.2?

How do I fix the first bit? Would it be as simple as cleaning out the data in the mysql tables.
