Kunena 6.3.0 released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

G'day, 2nhai, and welcome to Kunena.
Thank you for reporting this issue. Your report helps to explain some of the recent complaints we've received from members of the community who have been frustrated in their attempts to post questions on the forum.
In one sense this issue is a problem for this forum in terms of knowing what problems people have. Yes, it's a problem because, when people don't choose the correct category before they post their question, they can no longer use the New Topic menu item for the remainder of their login session. This is also a problem for other site administrators because it means that if people try to post a message to a locked category those people will get a message that says "This webpage has a redirect loop" instead of the message that informs them that they tried to post into a locked category.
This is a problem because people may give up and not use Kunena at all because it's "too hard"; some people have little patience!
On the other hand, the defect that you see here could also be considered a good spam deterrent. It means that, if people join this site with the intention of posting spam and they are unsuccessful after a couple of attempts to post their rubbish here, they may give up and look somewhere else.
