The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.5 [K 6.2.5] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.3.x/4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

This has been fixed in K 1.6.4 which is due for release shortly. We ask people to be patient and to wait for this new version to be made publicly available.

The changes can also be made if you are familiar with CSS but, as I have just mentioned, the new Blue Eagle template (included in K 1.6.4) allows you to make the changes easily by using some simple template setting changes.

I find that the Kunena menu item type in Menu manager is not normal

just like this
"kunena »kunena_entrypage_VIEW_DEFAULT_TITLE"

and other Kunena menu item type is the same

It's lower case. But according to Coding Standards of Joomla,There must be some problem.

waiting for the new version.

Good luck!

The Index/Recent Topics/Net Topics/etc menu that goes above the Welcome, username row is missing. I've tried different templates, pressing the "Create Menu" in Control Panel. Is this a common problem? What is causing it.

I just noticed now looking at the report that Kunena Menu is disabled, as well as Mootools. Do I need to download these separately? and what about JfirePHP?

Thank you. :)

Mootools has nothing to do with J! 1.6 and the "missing Kunena menu" issue. This topic will show you how to restore the Kunena menu for J! 1.6.
