Merged "This webpage has a redirect loop"

Something has been broken recently, and none of my Kunena categories can be accessed. An error pops up everytime.


The back end settings seem fine, the only difference is that I have recently changed the Kunena menu at the top of the page, but that is working properly.

Any ideas?

I am having a similar problem, in a slightly different environment:
Joomla 1.5.23
Kunena 1.6.4
Server: Apache

SEF off: Everything works, including the Kunena forum
SEF on, including .htaccess enabled: Everything works on the site, with the SEF-URLs, however: the Kunena forum doesn't; instead, I get the "loop" error as described above in the former postings in this thread.

Therefore, I have switched off SEF... I would like to use SEF URLs, but as long as Kunena is blocked with SEF URLs, I cannot use it.

Any idea what to do?

I suggest that you use the "trash-burn-build" technique that's described in How do I restore my Kunena menu? ... and, for your own sake, please upgrade to K 1.7.0 as soon as possible. Thank you. After you fix your Joomla menu, then you can enable SEO.

Hello guys, I an using K 1.7, on clicking "forum" page on the main menu of my site it keeps on refreshing. I have also tried the steps suggested on this page ( docs.kunena.org/index.php/*_Commonly-ask...uration_report.29.3F ), but no use.

1) please update joomla to 1.5.25
2) update kunena latest to 1.7.1
3) enable mootools upgrade in plugins

Done the above steps, still same problem.
What is "System - Mootools12" can you provide the link to download it? As cofig says- "System - Mootools12: Disabled".

Please try disable AceSEF.

Also did that, no use

disable all sef settings.
