Sorry for late. I've installed a new Joomla under a new domain of mine at Godaddy (Just in a different folder) and it works! What to do now? Probably it is not my hosting company's fault. Because those two websites of mine belong to same PHP settings. Just one of them works another doesn't. On localhost I get strange url:
Code:
http://localhost/forum/2-welcome-mat/1-welcome-to-kunena.html?defaultmenu=53

Any advice?

none: You originally stated (in msg #19 ) that you have "exactly the same problem". I assume that you mean that your website ( www.vinnumber.info/ ) generates "redirect loop" error messages when users visit your forum page ( www.vinnumber.info/forum/index.html ) or when they click one of the links on any of the topics in the forum.

I don't see any evidence that you have any "redirect loop" problems. Can you please show us, which page(s) generate "redirect loop" error messages. Thank you.

There is no way that we can assist you with "localhost" (i.e. WAMP) issues because there is no way that we can access your "localhost". Can we please focus on your real website issues where we have the opportunity to see, for ourselves, the problems that you might be having. Thank you.

Hi,

Evidence? Sorry, but you think Im boring when Im writing on your forum and when Im trying to find the solution? I also assume that if you put out my website's link maybe you've already checked it and you already would have seen the evidence.

The URL you gave www.vinnumber.info/forum.html works. I don't see any "redirect loop" when I go to www.vinnumber.info/forum.html . Sorry.

One error on your site I noticed which is different from what has been mentioned is when I logout on the kunena forum page it has a message saying something about a menu item missing. ;)

Yes, because as I said I CAN NOT open the forum categories! I don't have problem with menu link! Can you try it?!

Same problem has: tracysanz

I reached the point where I could get to the menu item okay, but got the redirect error when i clicked on any of the forum topics. Which would indicate it isn't a menu item problem?

Well I'm currently at my high school which the url is blocked (darn McaFee) and I tried yesterday which when clicking the catogry it badly lagged.

Also a future note to the admins, if I'm worried about my password being hijacked from signing up for a site, I use a different one, I suppose that would take too much time though. ;)

none: Now I understand your problem. The "redirect loop" problem normally occurred whenever users attempted to display their Kunena forum entry page. In your case (and in the case of trancyanz) a different problem occurs after you have opened Kunena but when you try to access one of the Kunena categories. Even though the symptoms of the problem seem to be the same, the error messages given by the browser are different. That is why it has taken us so long understand the nature of your problem.

In the "redirect loop" problem the browser (Firefox) issues the following error message:

Redirect Loop Error, Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the requested page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked.

The browser has stopped a connection because the site is redirecting requests to itself in a manner which prevents it from ever completing.

The error message in this case, however, is

The page isn't redirecting properly. Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

These are two very similar looking error messages but, as you can see, they are different! Unfortunately, the Firefox website doesn't contain much help about these issues except to say that "the website may be broken."

On the website in question ( www.vinnumber.info/forum.html ) Kunena reports that it takes an extraordinarily long time to load the page (between 1.5-3 seconds). This fact alone indicates that there is other software running on the website that is conflicting with Kunena and adding to the overall site performance worries; either that or the site is very badly misconfigured (in a Joomla sense).

So let us again ask the question: what other software is being used on this website? It is my suspicion that there is some third-party SEF product (like ArtioSEF, sh404SEF, JoomSEF) being used and that is what is causing all of these problems. I have written several times in this topic what are the potential causes for the "redirect loop" problem. The causes of the "page isn't redirecting problem" are similar and I advise you to look in the same places (see msg #2 for a list of those).
