Hey All,

First time poster. I've been trying to research this problem without success. I've read issues with the magic quotes being enabled which I ensured are disabled. All other items I read don't seem to work. I attached some screen shots of my exact problem. I read another topic on here showing it to be a problem with the Kunena post.php file which I cannot seem to locate in the backend. This person was having an issue with backslashes in his subject line and the solution seemed to be typing removebackslashes in a piece of code.

Would surely appreciate anyone's help.

Thanks,
Dennis

Could be a variety of things, but need information to help.

Could you please post your Kunena Configuration Report as it will be most helpful in working out the issue you are having.

It has nothing to do with Kunena. You can see the same error on your Joomla home page.
Maybe this topic can help you.

Thank you for the link. Apparently, magic quotes wasn't showing as disabled in several php.ini files. I searched for all of them in my file manager and manually typed "Off" for Magic_Quotes_gpc. Seems to have worked.

Now I have to find why avatars are suddenly not showing up in forum posts. Woke up this morning, and they're just gone.

Different problem; different subject. (Possible cause of this different problem is that you have disabled the Kunena - Kunena plugin).

Yes, if the plugin "Kunena - Kunena Integration " is disabled, avatars are not shown.

My forum adds a "/" before every apostrophe or quotation mark ( ', " ).

And it does it every time you post. So if you edit the post, it adds another.

G'day, Lavagasm, and welcome to Kunena.

This is not a Kunena defect or bug. This problem is caused by the way your site has been set up. You need to turn "magic quotes" off. This topic discusses the issue.
