I am having a major problem now.

I just moved my site to PS and now kunena links are all dead. I pretty much played around all SEO settings, htaccess renaming, still can't get the kunena main page. İt returns an error.

Any ideas? (desperately need help)

camsarim,
Go into your Joomla admin panel, then go to menu->kunena menu.
open each menu item and make sure that the alias for each item is in English.
For example:
Menu item details:
id: 47
Title: [Can be in your own language]
Alias: index

on my site the sef settings for kunena are disabled

in site->global configuration, seo settings my site is set to:
search engine friendly URLs - yes
use apache mod_rewrite - yes

I had the same issue after upgrading to J1.5.24, but this seemed to resolve the issue.

Please report back if your issue was resolved.

Hi thanks very much for this.

My site is in Turkish.
I was using joomla and kunena SEO friendly

Let me explain what I did.

1.I disabled all of the SEO from Joomla and Kunena
2.I checked the htaccess, made sure that is there as .htaccess
3.I came back to joomla enabled mod rewrite and Joomla SEO settings.
4. I trashed all kunena forum links, kunena menu links, also parmenantly deleted them from trash
5.I went to Kunena admin panel, created a forum menu
6.When I make it available on my main menu, I cannot go to the main entry page of kunena, it turns an error. Plus, all of my latest module links turn error messages. I cannot see a kunena page.

Lots of people are waiting me because I took the site down waiting to resolve this issue. I would really appreciate if someone can help.

Okay.

I followed sozzled's advice.

Reinstalled kunena 1.7.1
Removed the legacy plugin
Updated kunena modules
created the menu again from kunena
I disabled all SEF from both Joomla and Kunena

Still not no link works

Now something changed though. Instead of getting "broken link" message from the browser, I just get a white blank screen.

And for some reason, despite all the updates, some of the versions do not change as you can see below.
Blue Eagle is still 1.6.5.

Something is wrong, but hopefully with your help, I will fix it.

Here is the new config now:

I just noticed, you have integration_access set to Joomla, instead of Jomsocial.
I am using community builder and have all the fields in components-->kunena-->configuration -->integration tab, set to community builder.
Please check
