Thank you very much for this hack, I've been trying to figure out where to put my login box in my forums all day yesterday and didn't come up with anything I liked. However I have the same problem as this guy:

while upon logon, the "My Profile, Show Latest Posts, Advanced Search, and Announcements" are not properly align.

need help.

I've tried the css solution with both 10% and 200px, neither fixes the later alignment problem, only the login box.

#Kunena .inputbox {
width:200px;
}

I can't set this hack. I don't have the folder "default_ex", only "default"

Thank you!

Hi, what is a template you are using in your site, if you are using default_ex the folder must be there.

Or you are looking in wrong root??

components / com_kunena / template / default_ex /

Hello!

I have installed the Kunena version of KunenaSpanish.com and the template it includes is Default (I think)

I think this is the right folder.

Thanks!

From the looks of things, you don't have a default_ex folder. (../components/com_kunena/template/default_ex). It has, somehow, been removed.

As @quila said, it should be there. Please put it back. Copy the "default_ex" files from the installation kit into that directory. Then, make sure you change the Kunena settings to use the default_ex template.

Hi again, how can I get the files of default_ex without reinstalling Kunena?

Thanks!

iseca: this discussion topic is about "Kunena own login"; we are beginning to wander dangerously off-topic, trying to analyse why you have a non-standard Kunena installation and this sidetrack is unhelpful to other users who are interested in the main topic.

The Kunena installation kit comes in several forms: .ZIP, .TAR and others. These are called "compressed archives" and normally they need a program to uncompress them. If you are using Microsoft Windows you probably already have a program that uncompresses .ZIP files. In other words, double-click the Kunena .ZIP installation kit to see what files are in it. Extract those files and copy them to your website. If you have further problems trying to figure out how to extract files from your Kunena installation kit, please start a new discussion topic. Thank you.
