I finally realized that you cant use the word w*get in this forum, not even in searches (remove asterisk), or you will get a "POST to /forum/post not supported"-error. Man, it has been frustrating getting most of my responses to this thread rejected. Anyway, if you use the program called w*get (remove asterisk) to fetch the feed www.dsmmr.dk/forum/fb_rss?no_html=1 you will see the erroneous bytes, which are UTF-8 byte order marks (BOMs).

Since the problem appears only in the Kunena feeds on the site, I attribute it to Kunena or to the Danish language file (com_kunena_1.5.5_da-DK_Language20-08-09.zip).

We're sorry about that: not being able to post w*get (lose the asterisk) is a security restriction of this website. I will mention this to the site administrators. I have also merged this topic with another that is similar. You might be interested in the suggestions made by another user.

This could be a genuine problem with K 1.5.11. I will report this to the developers.

Thanks for the advice. Indeed I think the problem reported by williamhystevens is related, though neither the symptoms nor his solution seem to support this (my Firefox is not affected but the XML parsing error is consistent). I tried the suggested solution but the errorneous UTF-8 BOMs and the problem remain. I don't think the problem lies in kunena.rss.php since removing it completely leaves only the BOMs in my experience (thus everything but the problem disappears).
