Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

Wow! :woohoo: Sometimes I even amaze myself! :laugh:

This goes to prove that a picture is worth a thousand words!

The solution ought to be fairly straightforward. I might work on it in my spare time. I imagine that changes need to be made to ../components/com_kunena/lib/kunena.search.class.php and ../components/com_kunena/default/plugin/advancedsearch/advsearch.php

Just to be clear on the request:

We want to search
  • using Keywords,
  • either Search entire posts or Search titles only,
  • plus option to "exclude results with 'Re:' in the title
as illustrated in message #22760 . We also want to be to be able to sort the results, by Title, in ascending or descending order. Is that correct?

You can already sort your results by Title! Did you know that? B)

Yes, I agree. :cheer: As far as Kunena is concerned, "subject" = "topic" = "title" = "thread" = "discussion".

Yes I now that, but too much results because replies ("Re:xxxx") are mixed with the topics titles beginning with the letter "R".
