Kunena 6.2.5 & module Kunena Latest 6.0.7 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.5 [K 6.2.5] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.3.x/4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Male and Female Icons was created by juuk
Hi

I've read posts here and in Joomlapolis regarding gender field selection for relevant male/female icons. However, my trouble is not solved. Male/female icons are not shown in user side profile in my forums.

I thought that there shouldn't be selection for the field i.e. gtalk = gtalk. But, location field which points to (cb) country field (with a drop-down selection of about 200 countries) is shown in user side profile.

Can someone go into my site's backend to look-see?

p.s. My CB & Kunena versions are in my board signature.

I am... Kunena 2.0.4 with CB 1.9 on Joomla 1.5.26.

Hello,

for me it's unclear, what your are trying to explain, but do you have if your icons male/female are in components\com_kunena\template\default_ex\images\english\icons with the permissions on the icons to 777 ?

Whoops! My apology if I sounded vague.

Let me try again... I can't seem to get gender icon i.e. male or female to display in user side profile (in my forums). Please see womenwithissues.net/index.php?option=com...c=view&catid=25&id=4 . No problems with icons for location, birthday, website, etc.

I changed permission to 777 as per your (xillibit's) indication. Still no gender icon (male or female) appear.

FYI, I have allowed privacy setting for registered user for
(1) birthday
(2) gender
But, birthday is shown.

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I thought the drop-down field selection could have caused the trouble. But I have pointed out that I have a drop-down field of over 200 (cb) country field, and that is OK.

I don't know where did I go wrong.

I've just changed to default_ex. Gender icons still didn't show. Please take a look, womenwithissues.net/index.php?option=com...c=view&catid=25&id=4

I was using Fenris-light template earlier.

For now no, I will test on my local installation with CB for kunena profile and see where do you come from this strange issue.

I have just tested quickly now on K1.5.9, when i set profile and avatar integration with CB, the data are get from Kunena and not from CB, when i change the birthdate, it always show the kunena birthdate. I haven't investigated more, but i need to fix that asap.

Do you have the same issue ?
