Question Email notification issue

Hi,

I am facing a problem that at present everyone is receiving an email every time anyone posts in any category and/or any topic post.

People are receiving too many emails!!

I want some Users to only be able to receive notification of category and or topic updates in ONE category only.

Can you show me how I can ensure that users only receive email updates from the one category and topics they are interested in?

I think that you had previously enabled the option "Check Subscription Box = Yes" (it's default setting after installation). Therefore, there are many topics subscriptions.
Unsubscribe topics or categories must the users itself.

If i understand right you want that moderator can send a specific message to users which have posted a messages in specific category ? It' not possible to do that actually
