Kunena 6.2.6 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

The error code HTTP 500 Internal Server Error is a general-purpose message this indicates a general error in a web application. Please note that there is no general solution for this general error. You should first read HTTP 500 Internal Server Error before posting in this category.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Question Internal Server Error on view=config

Our Kunena was working fine, even after we had a failed upgrade to 2.0.4 (old MySQL version, we've since upgraded it and installed Kunena 3.0.1 with no problems).

It now has an HTTP 500 Internal Server Error when trying to access the forum. In the Joomla backend, everything works fine except the Configuration page (.../administrator/index.php?option=com_kunena&view=config).

Any suggestions? I'm wondering if I will need to remove Kunena and rebuild it from scratch.

There are a couple of other things you should do:

1) In your forum integration settings , change the values as shown in red below:

Kunena - AlphaUserPoints Disabled
Kunena - Community Builder Disabled
Kunena - Gravatar Disabled
Kunena - JomSocial Disabled
Kunena - Joomla Enabled: access=1 login=1
Kunena - Kunena Enabled: avatar=1 profile=1
Kunena - UddeIM Enabled: private=1

2) Use the Blue Eagle template designed for K 3.0.1, not the one designed for K 1.7.2
