Kunena 6.2.5 & module Kunena Latest 6.0.7 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.5 [K 6.2.5] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.3.x/4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

I recently just acquired a website and am attempting to re-order some categories in a section. I am able to change the order number but it is not saving, or rather I can't figure out how to make it save. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Zoomer

Thanks for the quick reply, I am not seeing the same options as the screen shot you showed.

In Joomla I go to, Kunena Forum > Category Manager

but I am not seeing any re-ordering arrows. I am able to click and change the number in the field but it is not saving...

It would appear that I need to read the helpful posts like "How to ask questions the smart way". Apparently 2.0.4 is what is installed on my server, I will search out solutions.

The tutorial that rich referred to (in msg #2) relates to K 3.0 on J! 3.x.

You are using an outdated (and unsupported version) of Kunena (K 2.0.4) on an outdated and unsupported version of Joomla (J! 1.5.26).

We are sorry but we are unable to help you further with your problem and we will have to move this discussion to the archive/locked category in which people have asked questions about K 2.0. Our advice to you is to migrate your J! 1.5 website to J! 3.x as soon as you can. If you would like professional assistance to do this, I can help you (please write to me by email - my email address is on the team page).

We wish you every success in successfully migrating your Joomla website and upgrading to K 3.0 and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the supported version of Kunena that you can use. Good luck. :)

In Kunena 2.0 there's a small disk icon in top of the column, which allows you to save the new ordering. It might not work in the new browsers, though and I have no way to test it anymore as I've not had Kunena 2.0 test site for some time. :(

As it was proposed by Sozzled, I would attempt to find some time to figure out how to upgrade the whole site to Joomla 2.5 or 3.3 as there are some security vulnerabilities which have been fixed in later versions of both Joomla and Kunena.
