Question 1PixelOut audio player not showing with K 3.0

Hi there, I upgraded my client's website from 1.7.x in 2 steps, and the upgrade to Kunena 3.0.6 was successful. However, we've been using 1PixelOut audio player to embed the audio files into Kunena topics, and now all we see are the {audio}{/audio} shortcodes with the filenames in between. These are files my client has posted (he doesn't permit audio uploads) so those files are stored in folders of their own, and I taught him how to put the correct paths in, based on the audio plugin's requirements.

I purchased and installed the upgraded Pro version of the Rapid1PixelOut player (plg_Rapid1Pixelout.3.6.pro.zip), but that doesn't seem to help.

There isn't much about audio embeds in this forum, but from what I could find, it seems that the v3.0 forum is expecting to have the audio file show up as an attachment, at which point it's converted to a playable file. I tried to do that upload with a test post, and it did not work. I enabled the use of Joomla Content plugins, and that did not work either. So my client is left with over 100 posts with short codes showing and apparently no way to re-enable them for online listening only.
  1. How DO the audio player files work in Kunena 3.0.x?
  2. How can we fix it so he doesn't have to re-upload all those files just so that they land in his attachment folder?

Toolie

1) Kunena haven't yet mp3 support.
2) Check if the 1PixelOut audio player plugin is enabled, on the plugin manager.

3) if you still have issue's contact the plugin author, on their forum or support email.
