Okay boys and girls here is my modified default_ex template.
If you like dark/gray templates this might just be for you. There are still two issues I need to solve, one of them is a lighter color for attached images URL in firefox (the browse tab) and a couple other issues. But might as well share what I have so far. It has custom images for my website, but you can use any images you like. Only english emoticons are included. Hope you like it.    Download Here | See it in action
