The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

This is for users to help other users, to discuss topics that are related to forum administration in general or problems in running Joomla. This is not the place to ask for Joomla support. If you want assistance with Joomla please ask at forum.joomla.org

I'd like to ask, what is the procedure so that I have my forum in GameWorld.gr/Forum instead of GameWorld.gr/Kunena

Note that I don't want to use any redirect programs. What I mean is that everything will run from there and topics will open in the forum of (ex.) GameWorld.gr/Forum/Action-games/11684

Thank you.

Check your Kunena menu alias

Log in to Joomla Administrator, Menus -> Kunena Menu

Alias for first parent item should be forum (or whatever you like)

I have no signature :)

rgblogs is correct: the "procedure" you are looking for is the Menu Manager in Joomla.

To understand how SEF URLs work see Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) .
URLs in Joomla are derived from the menu item alias name.
Therefore, if you have a menu structure that looks like this:

  • /mainmenu
    • kunena
      • index
your URLs will be "<sitename>/kunena/index"

If, on the other hand, your menu structure looks like this:

  • /mainmenu
    • forum
      • index
your URLs will be "<sitename>/forum/index"

When you first install Kunena your menu is created for you (as in the second case above) but, if you change your Joomla menu then, obviously, you will change the SEF URLs that are derived from your menu structure. I hope this helps you understand better Joomla SEF URLs.
