Expiring posts 1 year 7 months ago #4

Any way to do/thoughts around expiring posts? The concept is for a "for sale" topic that my community members can post and subscribe to...but we need to be able to put an expiry (admin'd at the category level), say 30 days, such that posts would auto delete...We'd also want an email sent back to the poster reminding them of this... There's option in the backend to do just this -- just manually. Prune forums just delete all old topics that haven't been answered within the time you can specify. Yes, we should make it automatic. Hello fiends, i would love to have the function, that kunena locks topics/threds automatically after a defined time of incativity. Example: A thread is open since 3 weeks and the last post is 2 weeks before posted => kunena uses the backend settings from e.g. 14 days and locks this thread. Yes, I would love this feature! I would love to see it used here on this website in two cases:

(1) Anything that has not been updated for the past 12 months; and

(2) Topics that have the word "Urgent, help me ..." in the subject, after they've been replied to, if the person who started the topic has not replied for 24 hours.

I don´t want to delete it! I yust want to lock the topics, that´s a big difference for me!

Maybe, you can add this function in the near future?
